At the Festival du Nouveau Cinéma in Montreal, Belgian artists Jérôme Vandewattyne and Séverine Cayron made a splash with their project "One Way Ticket to the Other Side." A year later, they presented "Summer Hit Machine," directed by Vandewattyne and starring Cayron. They also composed the music for "Incomplete Chair" by Japanese director Kenichi Ugana. These collaborations all began at the festival, known as a platform where creative encounters lead to concrete projects.
