Noortje Herlaar and Thekla Reuten received the Golden Film Award for their film "Voor de Meisjes" (For the Girls). The film, directed by Mike van Diem, tells the story of two couples caught in a moral conflict over their daughters' lives after an accident in the Austrian Alps. Based on the novel "We Doe Wat We Kan" by Lykele Muus, the film was produced by Keplerfilm and Nuts & Bolts Film Company. "Voor de Meisjes" is playing in 156 cinemas.
