Andrea Kalas, Vice President at Iron Mountain, spoke about film preservation at the Marché International du Film Classique (MIFC) in Lyon. Kalas, with a career spanning over thirty years in film archiving, contributed to the design of three subzero vaults for preserving nitrate and acetate film. She emphasized the challenges of digitization and the importance of archives. Kalas also led restorations of important films, including "Wings," and organized a screening of Francis Ford Coppola's new edition of "The Godfather: Part III."
