The 39th edition of the Cinekid Festival opened in Amsterdam Noord with the world premiere of "Koning van de Zwervers" (King of the Wanderers). The festival, which features films, series, and games, launched on October 11th in the southern Netherlands and will expand to other regions starting October 18th. During the festival, Cinekid Lions will be awarded in various categories. Pathé Amsterdam Noord serves as the main venue and houses the largest Cinekid MediaLab. The festival is a major event for children's films and youth media.
