Amsterdamned II, the sequel to Dick Maas's 1988 cult thriller, opens in theaters on December 4th. Huub Stapel returns as Detective Eric Visser and Holly Mae Brood plays the female lead. The film, which will also be shown in IMAX theaters, introduces new technologies such as drones for more spectacular chase scenes. According to Maas, the film can be viewed standalone and is aimed at a young audience with modern visual effects. Stapel is also involved as a producer and has had influence on the casting, among other things.
