Michiel Blanchart, the Belgian director of "La nuit se traîne," is the top candidate to direct the new "Final Destination" film. This would be his first English-language film. No official offer has been made yet, but he is at the top of the list after an intensive search. The previous film in the series, "Final Destination: Bloodlines," directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein, was a huge success, grossing $314.6 million worldwide.
