During the Netherlands Film Festival, the Netherlands Film Fund and the Limburg Film Office launched Studio Heuvelland, a program for short and medium-length films by Limburg producers. This year, funding is available for non-fiction, with contributions for two productions per producer. Next year, the program will focus on fiction, with support for short productions and one medium-length feature film. Studio Heuvelland strengthens Limburg's film infrastructure, which has grown significantly since the establishment of a regional film fund and a professional database.
