During Screenplay Day at the Netherlands Film Festival, the Silver Curls were awarded. These awards recognize the best film and television screenplays of 2024. "De Terugreis" (The Return Journey) by Marijn de Wit and Jelle de Jonge won for Best Film Screenplay. Eva Crutzen received the award for Best TV Series Screenplay for "Bodem." In the short film category, "Wander to Wonder" by Nina Gantz, Simon Cartwright, Daan Bakker, and Stienette Bosklopper won. The awards are presented by the Screenwriters' Network of the Authors' Union.
