The Doclisboa festival screens several Flemish documentaries, including "Memory Is an Animal, It Barks with Many Mouths" by Eva Giolo and "Bamssi" by Mourad Ben Amor. These films are made possible in part by the Flanders Audiovisual Fund. Doclisboa serves not only as a film festival but also as a platform for co-production and distribution in Southern Europe and Latin America. A Benelux delegation of documentary producers, including three Flemish production companies, participates in the festival's industry program.
