Suzanne van Kordelaar has started as general secretary of Dutch Screenwriters & Directors (DS&D), a partnership between the Dutch Screenwriters Network of the Authors' Union and the Dutch Directors Guild, effective September 1, 2025. She succeeds Katja Lubina and will champion the interests of screenwriters and directors. Van Kordelaar will contribute her legal and business expertise to strengthen the sector, focusing on fair pay and greater recognition for the profession. She is also the point of contact for key cultural and political parties.
