Filming for the Belgian WWII drama "Le Faux Soir" began on September 23, 2025. The film, directed by Michaël R. Roskam, depicts a remarkable act of resistance in which a fake edition of the newspaper Le Soir was distributed to mock the German occupiers. Roskam also wrote the screenplay, with dialogue by Bernard Falaise. The cast includes Belgian and French actors, including Arieh Worthalter and Mélanie Thierry. Filming will take place in Brussels, and the film will be distributed by Cinéart in the Benelux.
