The winners of the film competitions were announced during the 27th edition of Film by the Sea in Vlissingen. The Film & Literature Award went to "Bergers" by Sophie Deraspe, a film about a Canadian man who becomes a shepherd in the French Alps. The honorable mention went to "Das Verschwinden des Josef Mengele" by Kirill Serebrennikov. Other prizes included the International Student Jury Award for "Where the Wind Comes From" by Amel Guellaty and the Youth Jury Award for "Nawi" by Vallentine Chelluget and others.
