Yorick van Wageningen will star next year in the Dutch film "Downtown," directed by Michiel van Erp. The film, with a screenplay by Frank Houtappels, follows three gay men in Amsterdam in the 1980s and during the coronavirus lockdown in 2021. Van Wageningen also stars Hans Kesting, Roeland Fernhout, Daniël Cornelissen, Thor Braun, and Sebastián Mrkvicka. Filming recently began, and the release is scheduled for 2026.
