The 61st Chicago International Film Festival, running from October 15th to 26th, is highlighting three Dutch films in its international competition sections. Nanouk Leopold's "Whitetail," about Jen grappling with a tragic past, is competing in the International Feature Competition. Kleber Mendonça Filho's "The Secret Agent," a Dutch-Brazilian coproduction, and Sven Bresser's "Reedland," about reed cutter Johan who finds a body, are also selected. "Reedland" is also the Dutch entry for the Oscars.
