The Netherlands Film Academy and ROE Visual are expanding their collaboration with a permanent virtual production installation at the academy. After a successful pilot with the graduation film "A Taste of Friendship" in 2023, students can now continuously practice with advanced LED technology. This technology, famous for its use in "The Mandalorian," will be integrated into the curriculum and connected to a European network of film schools. Instructor Marijn Eken and Olaf Sperwer of ROE Visual emphasize the importance of this technology for the future of the film industry. The installation is scheduled for completion at the end of September 2025.
