The 2025 Debut Competition of the Netherlands Film Festival has nominated three films for the Utrecht City Film Prize. The winner will receive €7,500 and the statue "De Gouden Berg" (The Golden Mountain), designed by Noor Nuyten. The jury, consisting of Edith van der Heijde, Sophie Dros, and Arno Willemstein, praised the films for their original and multi-layered approach. The nominated films are "Fuck-a-Fan," "Koud Water," and "Mannenmelk," each with unique storytelling qualities and thematic depth.
