Portuguese filmmaker Susana de Sousa Dias will be guest of honor at the IDFA documentary festival from November 13th to 23rd. She will have a retrospective and select her top 10 films. Her work, which focuses on dictatorship and colonial legacies, has received international acclaim. Her filmmaking style, which began with "Still Life" (2005), continues in "Fordlândia Panacea" (2025), which will premiere at the festival. IDFA will also introduce the Dead Angle program, which focuses on institutions, and the new media program IDFA DocLab.
