The Flemish VR production "A Long Goodbye," directed by Kate Voet and Victor Maes, won an award at Venice. The film, produced by Emmy Oost and co-produced by Tarantula and Valk Productions, offers an interactive experience of the life of Ida, a 72-year-old pianist with dementia. The viewer experiences a day in her life, where her reality fades and memories come to life through interactions with objects and her husband Daniel's band shooting. The film highlights the impact of dementia and the power of love.
