Several awards were presented at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival. Jim Jarmusch won the Golden Lion for Best Film for "Father Mother Sister Brother." Kaouther Ben Hania received the Silver Lion - Grand Jury Prize for "The Voice of Hind Rajab." The Special Jury Prize went to Gianfranco Rosi's "Below the Clouds." Benny Safdie took home the Silver Lion for Best Director for "The Smashing Machine." Other winners included Xin Zhilei and Toni Servillo for Best Actor.
