Iranian director Amir Azizi's film "Inside Amir" won the GdA Director's Award at the 22nd Giornate degli Autori event in Venice. The film, which explores the doubts of a young man as he leaves his troubled homeland, was praised for its profound reflection on daily life and the use of different eras within a single frame. The prize is €20,000, to be divided between the director and the international sales agent.
