Director Niels van Koevorden is making his first teledoc, titled "Sarco." The idea for this film arose while working on his documentary "Hoelang Nog," in which he follows people in palliative care. Inspired by his experiences surrounding the illness and death of his mother from cancer, Van Koevorden explores an alternative approach to end-of-life care in "Sarco." The film focuses on the Sarco Pod, a futuristic sarcophagus that allows for a quick and self-chosen death.
