Ingeborg Elzevier, known for her roles in "De Stille Kracht" (The Silent Force) and "Madelief," has died in Amsterdam at the age of 89 after a short illness. This was announced by theater producer Stuurmanskunst. Elzevier, who graduated from the Amsterdam Theater School in 1958, had a sixty-year career in theater and film. She appeared with Toneelgroep Theater, Haagse Comedie, and Toneelgroep Amsterdam, among others. Elzevier won several theater awards and was appointed Officer of the Order of Orange-Nassau in 2001.
