The Venice Film Festival has announced the selection for Venice Immersive 2025, with strong Dutch representation. Two entirely Dutch projects have been selected: Daniel Ernst's "The Great Orator" in competition and Steye Hallema's "Ancestors" out of competition. In addition, two Dutch co-productions have been selected for competition. Four projects by Dutch filmmakers were selected at the Gap Financing Market. Venice Immersive will showcase a total of 69 works from 27 countries. The festival runs from August 27 to September 6, 2025.
