The Film Pact Noord (Northern Film Pact) aims to screen 1,001 Northern films on 1,001 screens in the north of the country within five years. The first screening weekend is scheduled for October 18 and 19, 2025. Venues such as community centers can register to participate and will gain access to a database of Northern films, as well as support for programming, publicity, and financing. Filmmakers and sponsors can also register via 1001Schermen.nl. The initiative ultimately aims to expand nationwide in collaboration with ScreenTalent NL.
