Director Marjolijn Prins's documentary "Fantastique" will have its world premiere during the Locarno Kids Screenings at the Locarno Film Festival (August 6-16). Produced by Serendipity Films and others, the film tells the story of 14-year-old Fanta from Guinea-Conakry, who juggles school, caring for her ailing mother, and her passion for the circus. "Fantastique" was made possible in part by the VAF/Film Fund of Flemish Minister of Culture Caroline Gennez.
