During a festive ceremony on Wednesday 25 June 2025, the DDG Awards 2025 were presented, the professional awards for directors. The prestigious Grand Prix, made possible by the VEVAM Fund, was awarded this year to From Dust by Michel van der Aa. The awards honour the most impressive directing achievements of the past year, chosen by peers, organised by the Dutch Directors Guild (DDG) and Stichting VEVAM.
