The Netherlands Film Festival opens on September 26 with "Voor de Meisjes" by director Mike van Diem, known for his Oscar-winning film "Karakter". The film, with actors such as Fedja van Huêt and Noortje Herlaar, tells the story of two couples whose friendship is under pressure after a tragic accident of their daughters in the Alps. The festival runs until October 3 in Utrecht, where the advance sale of tickets has already started.
