The documentary series "A False Start - 100 Days in Youth and Family Care" by Nicolaas Veul has won the Silver Nipkow Disc. This program, in which Veul did an internship in youth care and examined his own youth, was praised for its exposure of the heavy responsibilities in youth care. The award ceremony took place in Het Ketelhuis in Amsterdam. Other nominees were "Zorgen" (BNNVARA) and "Danny ter plekke" (NTR). Last year, the EO series "De Joodse Raad" won this award.
