Dutch filmmakers Janneke Swinkels and Tim Frijsinger have completed their stop-motion animation film 'Zwermen' after ten years. The film, which will premiere at the Annecy Festival, tells the story of an elderly Piet who is transformed into a bird. The project, which is sold internationally by Miyu Distribution, faced many challenges, including financing and production problems. Swinkels and Frijsinger, who also had a child during this process, worked on assignments in between to pay the bills.
