The short fiction film "Shutterspeed", directed by Jasper De Maeseneer, will have its world premiere in Palm Springs. The film, a master project by De Maeseneer at RITCS School of Arts, follows 15-year-old Cas who seeks connection during a school trip to the sea. He and Jard, a 22-year-old teacher in training, go taking pictures together, which leads to discomfort and rejection. The screenplay was written by De Maeseneer and Arthur Moelants, who also did the cinematography and editing with Arthur Nelissen. Lou Goossens and Willem Herbots play the lead roles.
