Screen Flanders is supporting seven projects with two million euros, including the mini-series "Die Flut" (The Flood) by Nikolaus Stein Von Kamienski. This series is about four young people who are affected by the flooding in the German Ahr valley in 2021. Main character Lena, a policewoman, discovers her father's possible involvement in the disaster. The shooting takes place in the Lites studio in Vilvoorde with the Belgian Velvet films as co-producer. Screen Flanders offers financial support to audiovisual productions in Flanders.
