The Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, known as the world’s leading short film festival, has unveiled plans to build the Cité du Court, a hub for emerging talent. Supported by Clermont Auvergne Métropole and designed by MU Architecture, the project is set to open in 2029, during the festival’s 50th anniversary. The new 17,280 m² facility will include a renovated cinema, expanded workspaces and educational facilities. The festival is celebrating its 47th edition this year with record numbers of visitors and participants.
