Jafar Panahi won the Palme d'Or at the 78th Cannes Film Festival for his film "It Was Just an Accident". Other winners include Joachim Trier with the Grand Prix for "Sentimental Value" and Kleber Mendonça Filho, who won both the Best Director and Best Actor awards (for Wagner Moura) for "The Secret Agent". Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne won the Best Screenplay award for "Jeunes mères".
