Iranian director Jafar Panahi has won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival for his film "Un Simple Accident." The film tells the story of an Iranian man who seeks revenge for torture in prison, but accidentally kidnaps the wrong person. Panahi, known for his criticism of the Iranian regime, has been arrested several times in the past. This is the second time he has won an award at Cannes; his first was in 1995 for "Badkonake Sefid."
