Belgian director Valéry Carnoy has won the Europa Cinemas Cannes Label for Best European Film at the Cannes Directors' Fortnight 2025 for his film "Wild Foxes" ("La Danse des renards"). The award was announced by Europa Cinemas ahead of the Directors' Fortnight closing ceremony. "Wild Foxes" is Carnoy's feature film debut and deals with themes of male friendship and vulnerability. The film is produced by Belgium's Helicotronc and France's Les Films du Poisson.
