The 49th Annecy International Animation Film Festival, which runs from 8 to 14 June, presents four Dutch productions. In the competition for short films, "Murmuration" by Janneke Swinkels and Tijs Frijsinger will have its world premiere. This stop-motion animation tells the story of Piet, an elderly man who changes into a bird in a nursing home. Three Dutch student films compete in the competition for graduation films, including "Mother's Child" by Naomi Noir and "REM Sleep" by Husam Zakaraya.
