Sohrab Hura has won the Eye Art & Film Prize 2025. The Indian artist and filmmaker, known for his work on themes such as violence, inequality and mental health, moves between different disciplines such as photography and film. Hura, who studied economics and started taking photographs during his studies, has received international recognition and is a member of Magnum. His films, including "Pati" and "The Coast", explore social and political issues in India. Hura receives €30,000 and a presentation at the Eye Filmmuseum.
