The new BENELUX development scheme was presented in Cannes, intended to strengthen the film industry in Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands by stimulating co-development. Producers can apply for a subsidy of €50,000 per project for feature films, both live action and animation. The scheme promotes international cooperation, joint promotion at festivals and easier access to international co-productions. Applications can be submitted from 2026.
