The black-and-white film "Bezuidenhout", directed by Dirk Gunther Mohr, who also plays the lead role, is going international. The film, financed via crowdfunding with a budget of 36,348 euros, deals with the tragic mistaken bombing of Bezuidenhout during the Second World War. MCOfilm has acquired the worldwide distribution rights and is planning a launch during the Festival de Cannes. Although the film is not part of the official selection, it will be shown to international buyers. The film was made in six and a half days with a cast and crew who worked for a small fee.
