Loes Haverkort plays a negotiator in the Netflix film iHostage, which is about a hostage situation in the Amsterdam Apple Store. For her role, she spoke with the real negotiator from 2022 and listen to the shoot of the conversation between the hostage taker and the police. The film, directed by Bobby Boermans, shows how Haverkort approaches the hostage taker in a human, light tone. In addition to Haverkort, Louis Talpe, Soufiane Moussouli, Marcel Hensema and Emmanuel Ohene Boafo play in the film.
