Petra Laseur, known for her role as Queen Wilhelmina in the musical Soldaat van Oranje, has passed away at the age of 85. She had been seriously ill for some time and chose not to have treatment. Laseur, who won the Theo d'Or twice, passed away peacefully in her home in Amsterdam. Her son Andreas Oerlemans shared that she had experienced important family events. The funeral will be held on April 18 in private, with a public final farewell in Theater DeLaMar.
