The Un Certain Regard selection of the 78th Cannes Film Festival (13-24 May 2025) features 16 films from various countries, including eight debut features. Among the selected films are Alessio Rigo de Righi and Matteo Zoppis with "Heads or Tails?", Hubert Charuel with "Meteors", and Stéphane Demoustier with "L'inconnu de la Grande Arche". Also making their directorial debuts are actors Harris Dickinson and Scarlett Johansson with "Urchin" and "Eleanor the Great", respectively. The selection highlights emerging talent with a focus on genre and less radical approaches than in previous editions.
