Francine Hofstee will become the new General Director of the Dutch Academy For Film (DAFF) as of April 1, 2025, where she will succeed Jenny Booms. Hofstee, with a background as Creative Producer and Head of Development at Vice Media Benelux and Hearst Nederland, among others, will determine the strategic course of the DAFF. The DAFF, which represents 750 film professionals, plays a crucial role in nominating the Golden Calves and connecting the audiovisual sector in the Netherlands.
