Docville Leuven, which runs from 16 March to 3 April, is presenting six Dutch documentaries this year. "Eel's Journey" by Hans Dortmans, about the reproduction of eels, is one of three Dutch films in the international competition. "The Propagandist" by Luuk Bouwman, about Jan Teunissen during WWII, and "Flophouse America" by Monica Strømdahl, about a difficult childhood in America, are also competing. Other films are "The North Sea" by Mark Verkerk and "The Invisible Ones" by Martijn Blekendaal. "Shelter" by Sjors Swierstra & Ivana Khitsinska, about the war in Ukraine, has also been selected.
