Karla Puttemans has been appointed as the new director-intendant of the Flemish Audiovisual Fund (VAF), following the departure of Koen Van Bockstal for health reasons. Puttemans, currently Head of Creation and Talent Development at the VAF, has an extensive background in the sector, including management roles at SACD/SCAM and SABAM, and as a policy officer at the European Parliament. She has been involved in various cultural advisory bodies and has contributed to the establishment of several organisations within the Flemish audiovisual sector.
