Tom Waes has returned to work after a serious car accident and a period of rehabilitation. The shooting of the Dutch-Belgian drama series Badgast, produced for KRO-NCRV, has resumed. Waes caused the accident while under the influence of alcohol and suffered multiple fractures. The series, also starring Hannah van Lunteren and Anneke Blok, is set on Terschelling and will be broadcast later this year on the NPO and VRT 1.
