The European Investment Fund (EIF) has invested €25 million in Finland’s IPR VC Fund III to boost the production of European films and TV series. The fund, which now holds over €100 million, aims to finance international projects with a strong European slant. IPR.VC, active since 2015 and based in Helsinki, has financed over 50 productions worldwide. The fund, which aims to reach a target size of €120 million by 2025, will provide European producers with access to additional sources of financing.
