'La Nuit se traîne', the first feature film by Belgian director Michiel Blanchart, was the big winner at the 14th Magritte du Cinéma Awards. The film won 10 awards, including Best Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Debut Film. This surpassed the previous record of 'Duelles', which won 9 awards in 2020. 'La Nuit se traîne' is set during a night of Black Lives Matter demonstrations in Brussels and attracted more than 40,000 spectators.
