At the 75th Berlinale, held on February 22, Dag Johan Haugerud's drama 'Drømmer' won the Golden Bear. Part of a trilogy about love and relationships, the film follows teenager Johanne and her first great love for a new teacher. Among the short films, Quenton Miller won the Cupra Filmmaker Award for 'Koki, Ciao', and Vera van Wolferen received a special mention for 'Down in the Dumps'. In the new Perspectives competition, Ernesto Martinez Bucio's 'El Diablo fuma y guarda las cabezas de los cerillos quemados en la misma caja' won the main prize.
