Victor Reinier is quitting his role in "Flikken Maastricht" after eighteen years due to complaints about the working atmosphere and his behavior. There are reports of a conflict with co-star Angela Schijf and accusations of angry outbursts and misogynistic behavior. Producer Hollands Licht and AVROTROS have decided not to let his character return. Reinier himself and Schijf have not yet responded publicly.
